Lovable Dogs Around The World: This is my dog ruby. She was beaten and starved nearly to death as a puppy. She had to undergo surgery because they fed her too much to try and "fatten her up" before dropping her at the shelter. She is about half of the size she should be, structurally. Scarred for life. She's healing everyday.
